Gus Lawrence is the co-founder of Reinforced Records and five other independent labels, active since 1990. His career spans over 300 single releases and 50 albums across multiple genres.
He has led marketing, production, and business affairs operations; managed large-scale live events and European tours; and delivered seven-figure projects for major organisations including Universal Music, BMG, EMI, Sony, and Manga Entertainment.
Gus is a MOBO Award winner and Mercury Music Prize nominee.

Our Story
Parallel Aspect was formed after discovering that an artist signed to Universal Music Publishing in the early 2000s had not received royalty statements — despite royalties continuing to be collected after contract expiry.
Following a successful challenge, Parallel Aspect has recovered £95,000 to date across two cases (as of December 2025).
This experience highlighted a widespread issue within the industry — and the need for independent specialists who know where to look.
